In late 2013, I took off to New York, a solo trip that opened my eyes to new questions, new energies, and a different way of seeing the world.
There, I discovered the groundbreaking work of Skylar Tibbits and the Self-Assembly Lab at MIT. His concept of 4D printing, materials that reconfigure themselves over time, deeply influenced my thinking.
What started as a fascination with future tech quickly turned into something more essential.
I began to wonder: what if performance gear could grow, shift, and respond like a living organism?
Could design become a living system, merging biology, technology, and human potential to shape an “over-human” state?
This concept project explores that frontier, where material intelligence, movement, and regeneration converge.
