Adidas Airliner 2.0
In 2012, I joined Adidas to redesign one of the most iconic bags from the Originals range: the Airliner. The brief was simple, evolve an icon without betraying it.
My answer: go to the field, observe real-life use among urban youth aged 18 to 34, understand their rhythms, needs, and how they move between sport, studies, and social life.
The Airliner 2.0 emerged from that insight: more spacious, more modular, more functional, all while staying true to the brand’s cultural DNA.
I designed the product for the FW13 season, from user research to final design, in collaboration with the Adidas Originals Acc team.
This project provided me with my first real glimpse into product design within a global context, balancing style, brand identity, and industrial constraints.
